A Jump King / Getting Over It inspired platformer! Made for the Solo Dev Game Jam #4

Theme:
"Two button controls"

Controls:
Press Right Mouse Button to extend your sword!
Use the Mouse to move yourself around!

Try to avoid the obstacles and get to the top!

Issues:
Careful going from one area to the next, the game tends to bug out at some points. I haven't had time to find a smooth work around.

For the future:

This is the first jam game I feel like I could develop into something great! I'm going to keep updating this in my own time later on.  Things to add:

Fix the previously mentioned issue.
Add sound.
Better enemies.
Slopes.
Swinging objects.
Ropes.
Multiple backgrounds.
Background sprites.
